Born blind in China and adopted as a seven year old boy by Dargaville resident, Gaynor Edgar, Ming Ming was introduced to art while attending Dargaville High School. Ming Ming has been attending art classes at the Quarry Arts Centre through the Stepping Stones group in Whangarei.
His technique is first working with the background, he then develops is works using paints, brushes, fingers and pieces of cardboard, creating a colourful and well-textured piece of artistry.
Ming Ming’s exhibition was held at the Muddy Waters Gallery on 14 March to 10 April 2019.
